Bōsōzoku is a Japanese subculture known for its curious fashion sense, distrust of authority, and impressive customized motorcycles. Like some American motorcycle cultures, Bōsōzoku started in the 1950s and exploded in popularity once it emerged into the pop culture mainstream in the '80s and '90s.
