Using the total number of traffic incidents (which includes accidents, speeding tickets, DUIs, and citations) in 2016 and weighing them with percentages, QuoteWizard ranked the 75 most populated U.S. Cities from worst drivers to best. Denver came in at No. 9 -- that's ninth worst. To quantify over driver standards for comparison, we weighted incident counts for each city with its occurrence percentage," QuoteWizard's web site explains, regarding the study's methodology.
Cities with the best drivers included Motor City itself, Detroit, MI (No. 75), Providence, RI (No. 74), and Orlando, FL (No. 73).
