According to NewGeography, three Colorado mountain towns are seeing the largest growth in senior populations.

Looks as if the younger generations aren't the only ones coming to Colorado. A study published by NewGeography.com shows that more seniors are moving to Colorado mountain towns at a faster rate than anywhere else in the entire country. In fact, three of the top four mountain towns are in Colorado. Must be all that fresh air ... Steamboat Springs ranked first, while Edwards, Breckenridge, and Glenwood Springs came in third, fourth, and thirteenth, respectively. Steamboat Springs had the most significant increase of 80 percent, with the other mountain towns having more than a 70 percent increase in their senior populations. What doesn't come as a surprise is that many seniors preferred to move to warmer, more tropical climates rather than the cooler, mountain-filled areas. The Villages in Florida came in second place, earning the largest growth in senior growth for the 100,000 to 250,000 market populations.
