Mt. Evans Highway – 12 miles

Not ready to hike up a 14er? Why not drive up one? Mt. Evans Highway is a beautiful scenic drive that takes you up Mt. Evans, snaking and winding up 9,000 ft elevation gain. The drive doesn’t have any railings and steep cliffs so drive carefully!
Independence Pass – 27 Miles

One of the faster Colorado drives coasts you through Twin Lakes through Aspen’s back gate. Twin Lakes on its own is amazing, but this drive takes brings in a bit of history, passing by old mine ruins.
Trail Ridge Rd – 47 miles

Highway of Legends – 110 miles

This drive detours you from the interstate and carries you through some of Colorado’s most glorious countryside. The Highway of Legends is one of the best Colorado drives. Extremely true to its name, it has beautiful sights dominated by extinct volcanoes and the ragged and craggy Spanish Peaks.
