Street Smart Auto and CIADA donated this vehicle in hopes that TESSA’s efforts in helping the community are made easier. TESSA’S 1995 Ford Windstar Minivan was replaced by the newer and more reliable 2007 Nissan Quest.
“We appreciate the work TESSA is doing in the community, and wanted to help out where we could,” said Mark Weida, owner of Street Smart Auto Brokers. Street Smart Auto Brokers has helped in more ways than they could have imagined. “This new van will aide us in taking children in our Children’s Program on field trips, respond to calls from the hospital, and transport victims from medical facilities as well as for job interviews,” stated SherryLynn Boyles, Executive Director of TESSA.

TESSA announced Street Smart Auto Brokers and the Colorado Independent Automobile Dealers Association donated a minivan to the foundation.

No really, they actually gave away a 2007 Nissan Quest mini van, and for a good cause - the TESSA foundation. To give you a quick once over, TESSA is a foundation that provides a wealth of services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in the Pikes Peak area. Today, TESSA has evolved into a multi-faceted agency that includes a confidential Safe house, Victim Advocacy, Counseling and Children’s Programs, a 24/7 Crisis Line, Rural Advocacy and Community Outreach and Education.
