Do you ever feel like there are too many shows to watch across all of the different streaming services? You're not alone. I've had many friends recommend shows that are already multiple seasons in, and when you're behind, there isn't a lot of incentive to catch up.

However, the following shows each only have a single season out, so you won't have a lot to watch before you're all caught up and ready for the next season! See, we've got your back! Alright, let's dive in!

Must-Watch TV Shows to Binge Before the Next Season:

The Last of Us

This series is based on the critically acclaimed video game of the same name. Follow Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) in a post-apocalyptic world where a fungal infection has turned many humans into zombies in The Last of Us. The real story is what happens beyond the zombies; the people who remain are left to live in a very grim world. This series is just as critically acclaimed as the game, it's a heck of a ride! Don't miss out on one of the best shows of recent times.

House of the Dragon

We all have that friend who told us to get into Game of Thrones years ago! Then we waited, and now it's eight seasons deep. House of the Dragon is the perfect remedy if you missed the Game of Thrones era. Taking place 200 years before Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon has a brand new story to tell in this world. Season 2 will be coming out this summer, so definitely get into this amazing series before it's too late!

This is a fun one! Apple TV has been putting out some amazing TV. Shrinking centralizes on Jimmy Laird (Jason Segel), a therapist who has recently lost his wife. We see Jimmy in a spiraling state of depression and follow how that affects his role as a shrink. What comes of this show will surprise you, as it's heartfelt and relatable. In an era where Mental Health Awareness is at the forefront of society, Shrinking hits home with some feel-good laughs.

Ted

Oh boy, Ted is back! Everyone's favorite politically incorrect teddy bear has his prequel series based on the hit 2012 movie of the same name. This blast of '90s nostalgia and top-tier humor will make hours feel like minutes. If you're a fan of Seth McFarlane, then Ted is lightning in a bottle. Even if you're not, it's pretty damn good.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters

Gojira! Fans have been waiting for this MonsterVerse show for years, and it has finally come. The good news is, you don't have to be a fan to enjoy this show. Monarch: Legacy of Monsters centralizes around relatable characters, fantastic pacing, and of course the occasional monster or two. A perfect introduction for those who haven't seen a Godzilla movie.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians

Finally, Disney+ delivers a worthwhile series outside of Marvel and Star Wars! Percy Jackson and the Olympians is a thrilling story that's fun for the whole family. Fans of the book series by Rick Riordan will be pleased to know that this series stays true to form. Enter a world full of Greek Gods, mythical creatures, and a young boy finding his place in all of it. An epic quest, and a fantastic watch.

Squid Games: The Challenge

First and foremost, watch Squid Game if you haven't seen it. The South Korean drama series took the world by storm and lived up to the hype—and the reality series is no different. Squid Game: The Challenge takes some aspects from the show, and creates one of the coolest game shows ever made. These participants aren't in any sort of danger, but the tension and stakes create great television!

Full Swing

Golf can be tough to get into, especially if you're not invested in any of the athletes. Full Swing creates investment for casual golf fans, as this docuseries takes us behind the scenes. We get to know these PGA athletes, follow them on their journeys, and fully grasp what a PGA broadcast is unable to portray. This aspect of golf is worth a watch! You'll never call golf "boring" again!
