Amazon's Fleabag was the underdog and Emmy darling of 2019.

The 71st Primetime Emmy Awards aired last night (Sunday, September 22), and as usual, there were some upsets and some no-brainers. Fleabag's Phoebe Waller-Bridge beat out six-time consecutive winner Julia-Louis Dreyfus for Veep, while Game of Thrones not surprisingly won Outstanding Drama Series and Peter Dinklage took home Supporting Actor in a Drama. Also, history was made last night when Billy Porter became the first openly-gay man to win Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama for his performance in Pose. The complete list is below:
