"The Not-Too-Late Show With Elmo" is made just for kids!

There's a new late-night show to watch, and it's made just for kids. The Not-Too-Late Show is coming to HBO Max on May 27, 2020, and will be hosted by everyone's favorite furry red monster, Elmo.

The show will entertain kids and teach them life skills in each episode, with bedtime routines being a big focus. His guest lineup is top-notch and includes stars like the Jonas Brothers, Pentatonix, Blake Lively, Ben Platt, John Mulaney, Lil Nas X, Ciara, Olivia Wilde, H.E.R., Dan + Shay, and Jonathan Van Ness, among many others.

The first three episodes will be available on HBO, with a new episode each week after that. A special preview will stream on the Sesame Street YouTube Channel on Thursday, May 21. The show promises madcap humor, behind-the-scenes silliness, and more. (Fans can follow Elmo on his Instagram page!)

“When families cuddle, laugh, and engage with each other, these bonding moments provide invaluable opportunities to foster social-emotional skills. It’s that kind of connection we hope to create with The Not-Too-Late Show,” said Dr. Rosemarie Truglio, Sesame Workshop’s Senior Vice President of Curriculum and Content.

Sesame Workshop is a nonprofit that offers free educational resources for children and their families through its Caring For Each Other initiative. They are also working with their Critical Needs Response Fund to assist in meeting the needs of children in crisis. The organization has a mission to help children everywhere grow smarter, stronger, and kinder.

Though The Not-Too-Late Show is for kids, it's something that the whole family can enjoy together. What do you think? Sound off in the comments below.
