Welp, you don't see that every day.

In a video shared by photographer Robert Martinez, a bobcat can be seen killing a rattlesnake along a trail in Angeles National Forest near San Fernando, California.

The trimmed-down, two-and-a-half-minute video was shared on Martinez's Facebook page on October 9 and has, at the time of this writing, 4.3K comments and 57K shares. Original trail cam from Browning Trail Cameras.

"Hang on to your seat for this one, it's a real nail-biter," writes Martinez—and man, he's not wrong! Watch the intense video below:

Some of the comments on the video say that it's actually a lynx rather than a bobcat, but the overall consensus is that, regardless of the type of big cat featured, many folks were cheering against the rattlesnake.

"That bobcat knew what it was doing, as if it had done this before. Confident, hungry. Wild critters rarely risk death for a meal. Bobcat looked more confident than starving," one commenter wrote.

"Look at the agility of this bobcat, faster than that snake," wrote another.
