In a stunning video captured by Colorado Parks & Wildlife, a herd of 150 elk can be seen running through the foothills on a cool, foggy Colorado morning.
Colorado Parks & Wildlife Northeast Region (CPW NE) recently posted a stunning video on Twitter that truly captures the beauty of our state and its creatures. An elk herd of more than 150 animals can be seen feeding and moving together through the foothills, about 20 miles northeast of Denver.
You can watch the incredible video of the elk herd below, courtesy of CPW NE:
Colorado is home to some 287,000 elk — the largest elk population in the world. It is quite the sight to see a large elk herd move across the landscape. pic.twitter.com/cRLuMO1C7F— CPW NE Region (@CPW_NE) December 26, 2019
