Work off that unwanted winter bod at any of these completely free places to workout in Denver!

Any true Denver-ite understands me when I say that the delicious craft beer you indulge in every weekend catches up to you. You've also probably heard that Colorado is one of the healthiest states in the nation. To help you get your summer bod ready, I have found 5 completely free places you can work up a sweat at.

1. Denver Public Libraries (all locations)

completely free I know what you're probably thinking, but you actually can workout at the library. Denver Public Libraries offer fitness classes from yoga to Zumba, for FREE. Check out their schedule to find what class works for you! Most of the classes don't require registration so all you need to do is show up. Check it out here!

2. Red Rocks

completely free This is a given. If you're going to work out, you might as well work out at one of the most beautiful places in the country. Obviously when an event is not going on, you can have access to this tough workout spot. Hit the 380 steps at 6,400ft above sea level, or just jog up and down. This place is not for a beginner!

3. Manitou Incline

completely free If the Instagram isn't your motivation, then I don't know what is. Even though it's not in Denver, this is a local favorite. Challenge yourself to complete the 1 mile incline that reaches 2,000ft in elevation. Are you up for it?

4. Civic Center MOVES

completely free Find anything from yoga to strength training to cardio at Civic Center Park. Civic Center Moves is a FREE fitness series that runs from April 25th-October 6th. They have classes to work around your busy schedule so you have no excuse! All you have to do it show up. Check it out here!

5. Washington Park

completely free Take a stroll or jog on this beautiful 3 mile loop. If neither of those interest you, join in on a pick up basketball or volleyball game. You can access this park year round, but I suggest going in the spring when all of the beautiful flowers have bloomed.
