The numbers are in, the gavel has been gaveled, and we can all agree - Denver is the drunkest city in Colorado!

It’s official folks, Denver is the drunkest city in Colorado. A study that was released early November revealed that a fifth of adults living in the metro area reported to binge or heavy drinking. Now, Colorado is mostly known for being a resoundingly healthy state. Many other cities and towns in Colorado accumulatively aren’t far behind our main city. The rest of Colorado is pretty close to Denver, with 19.6 percent of adults across our state admitting to excessive drinking. But resoundingly, Denver is absolutely the drunkest city. It’s not very surprising though, considering how a large part of our economy and livelihoods revolve around alcohol. Colorado, and Denver specifically are LITTERED with breweries. Something our state prides itself on. Also, I mean... Hellooo Coors? Yeah, we’re the home of Coors, #neverforget. Now, we are all consenting adults who can freely drink what they want. As the drunkest city it's important to keep safety in mind! Around 400 people were arrested for DUIs in Colorado over Halloween (JUST Halloween!). In respects to being the healthiest state, let's remember to also be the most alive state. Don’t drink and drive folks!
