Enjoy these dog-friendly bars while you still can!

Ever since Colorado ranked No. 2 for being the most pet-friendly in America, we have got to find out ways to hang out with our favorite furballs outside of the doghouse. Here are five dog bars in Denver where you can enjoy some brews and barks.

The Watering Bowl – 5411 Leetsdale Dr., Denver, CO

The list starts off strong with The Watering Bowl located off of Leetsdale. Denver’s first dog-friendly bar has a separate entrance just for pooches that leads straight to their 7,000-square-foot, fenced-in, private patios. Here, your dog can run free and meet new friends! Their tavern menu includes both human and dog food! If you’re more in the mood for their ‘yappy hour’, they serve up $3 Bud Light, Coors Light, Shock Top, and Wells, Monday through Friday from 4–6 p.m.On the weekends, it’s $12 Bottomless Mimosas till 4 p.m.

Denver Beer Company – 1695 Platte St., Denver, CO

As if you couldn’t become more stereotypical for Colorado, there’s a place where you can bring your dog AND enjoy craft beer. Denver Beer Company caters to beer nerds and dog people. (Sometimes they’re the same person.) Dogs are welcome inside and outside as long as they’re on a leash. There’s always a food truck parked right outside, too, and everything they serve is made in Colorado! The best part? It’s located near pedestrian bridges that connect to downtown.

Ugly Dog Sports Café – 1345 Cortez St., Denver, CO

Along with their outdoor space where they welcome pooches and poodles, their menu is also hound-themed. You can try their ‘Build-a-Dog,’ a customizable hot dog, or try their many mixed drinks!

Rita’s Law – 2209 Welton St., Denver, CO

This recently opened Five Points neighborhood bar includes an outdoor patio where your best fur friend can sit and enjoy a drink of water with you. Rita’s Law also has several wall outlets and solar-powered umbrellas to help you work through the day, too! From the cool décor to the fully functional kitchen on the school bus, Rita’s Law is definitely a fun place to bring your dog.

Renegade Brewing Co. – 925 W. 9th Ave., Denver, CO

Unlike most dog-friendly bars, you can bring Fido right on inside the tasting room! This brewing company hosts different food trucks every other day. It’s the perfect place to take your dog on a walk through the arts district and stop by to have a beer or two. In fact, they have an ongoing promotion where the more beer you buy, the more safe water is provided for those in need. Renegade Brewing Company has partnered with Water for People to make their Tap for Tap program! Now that’s something to howl about!

Next time you’re looking for something to do, but you can’t stand the thought of leaving Fido at home, or he/she is giving you the saddest puppy eyes ever, bring them along and spend an evening at one of these dog bars in Denver!
