Fall festival season has officially arrived in the DMV.

The weekend is here, so why not try something new? Immerse yourself in a new experience with a beer festival, outdoor concert, or one of the many other fun events happening throughout the DMV. Just bring a coat and hat if you do!

Fall Wine Festival & Sunset Tour | George Washington's Mount Vernon | Mount Vernon, VA | Friday–Sunday

The longest-running wine festival in D.C. is back for another year! Enjoy a relaxing evening of wine-sampling and food while live music adds ambiance. Snallygaster | Pennsylvania Avenue NW, 3rd to 6th Streets | Washington, D.C. | Saturday

Named for the dragon-like beast that haunts the DMV, prepare for a beer festival of beastly proportions! Sample over 400 beers from 150 manufacturers and grab a bite from local food trucks. Portside in Old Town Fall Festival | Waterfront Park | 1 King Street | Alexandria, VA | Saturday

Immerse yourself in maritime history with knot-tying demos, boat displays, and the crafty "Anything That Floats" boat race. Enjoy refreshing beverages, good food, and live music throughout the day. Admission is free; just pay for food and beverages. Take a look here!

Canton Fall Festival | Patterson Park | Baltimore, MD | Saturday

Gather with family and friends for a wonderful day in Patterson Park! From 11 to 5, guests can experience delicious fair food, live music, beer gardens, and more! All Things Go Music Festival | Union Market | Washington, D.C. | Saturday–Sunday

Experience the top artists and entertainment this weekend at D.C.'s Union Market! Groove to a cutting-edge lineup, including CHVCHES, Betty Who, Lany, Coin, and more. General admission tickets are $70-$99. Prices will go up the day of the show, so don't wait! Buy yours here!

Army Ten-Miler | Pentagon | Washington, D.C. | Sunday

This annual tradition by the U.S. Army Military District of Washington is back in its 35th year! Civilians and military personnel can participate in a 10-mile jaunt across D.C. as well as additional activities throughout the weekend—pre-race pasta dinner, anyone?
