From hotel buffets to greasy spoons, treat mom to a delicious breakfast on her special day.

It's Mother's Day on May 12, and we can't think of a better way to celebrate than with a tasty brunch. Whether it's a home-style breakfast or a sophisticated hotel buffet, we love the feeling of enjoying a good meal (and not cleaning up afterward!). Baltimore is full of great dining options, and we have no doubt moms everywhere will feel extra-special after going to any of these restaurants.

Here are the best spots to grab brunch on Mother's Day.

Slainte Irish Pub and Restaurant

This Irish pub in Fells Point is "where soccer is religion" and where you'll also find a fantastic Mother's Day Brunch. From 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Slainte will offer traditional Irish dishes like corned beef hash along with American favorites like french toast and build-your-own-omelets. Moms will be treated to the cheekily-named (and complimentary!) "Momosa" and can enjoy outdoor seating for the occasion. Call them at 410-563-6600 to make your reservation today.

Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore

Because why not roll out the red carpet now and then and go to a hotel? Located in the hotel's Cobalt Ballroom, mom can enjoy a delicious buffet spread overlooking the gorgeous Inner Harbor. There will be ham and prime rib, a raw seafood bar, pastries, gelato, and a make-your-own crepe and s'mores station. Live music will be present, and a craft station will be available for kids to make their own Mother's Day card. Adult tickets begin at $95 -- you can find more information here or contact the hotel at 410-576-5800.

Miss Shirley's Cafe

As an all-day breakfast establishment, Miss Shirley's offers the mother of all brunches (appropriate for Mother's Day, eh?). Their extensive breakfast menu includes signature dishes like fried green tomatoes, chicken 'n' cheddar green onion waffles, and the award-winning Southern Slammer sandwich. Moms can perk up their morning with a Spicy Shirley, their version of the Bloody Mary featuring pickled okra and an Old Bay rim. Miss Shirley's does not take reservations, so we recommend getting there early. Take a look at the full menu here.

Spoons Cafe

For the caffeine-dependent moms out there, you can't go wrong with Spoons. Not only do they roast their beans in-house, but they also make everything from scratch. The results? Delicious. Go savory with a breakfast burrito or any of the eggs Benedict varieties. In the mood for something sweet? The deep-fried sweet cream stuffed french toast is what brunch dreams are made of -- french toast dipped in pancake batter and covered in fresh strawberries and blueberries. Spoons Cafe doesn't take reservations, so we would get there early -- and if you have to wait, you can always take a scenic walk around the neighborhood. View their full menu here.
