After a historic snowstorm, Colorado is expected to get a bit more snow on Tuesday afternoon/evening, but not as much as before. (Thank goodness.)

"Snowpocalypse" came, saw, and conquered. And just as everything begins to melt and we dig out of the snow caves we all found ourselves in over the weekend, it's time to prepare for more snow. But, fear not! We won't have anywhere near as much as we did last weekend, which I'm sure is a relief to everyone.

We'll see some light snow across southern areas of the state and as far north as Denver, but it won't add up to much. Then, we'll see some warmer temperatures through Sunday, with colder weather and a possibility of rain/snow into the week.

According to local meteorologists, here's the 7-day forecast, for the rest of this week into the weekend:

  • Tuesday: Dense Fog Advisory until 10 a.m. Mostly cloudy and chilly with a high in the mid-30s. Light snow tonight with a low in the mid-20s.
  • Wednesday: Mostly cloudy and staying chilly with a high in the mid- to upper 30s. Clearing skies overnight with a low in the lower 20s.
  • Thursday: Mostly sunny and not as cool with a high in the upper 40s. Clear skies overnight with a low in the upper 20s.
  • Friday: Mostly sunny and seasonal with a high in the mid-50s. Partly cloudy overnight with a low in the lower 30s.
  • Saturday: Fair and milder with a high near 60. Partly cloudy overnight with a low in the mid-30s.
  • Sunday: Increasing clouds with a chance for rain showers with a high around 50. Rain or snow showers overnight with a low in the lower 30s.
  • Monday: Scattered rain or snow showers and cooler with a high in the mid to upper 40s. Scattered showers overnight with a low in the upper 20s.
