The Ice Castles in Colorado are opening this Saturday, December 28, for their third season!

The stunning Ice Castles are back in Colorado for another year, and with them, they bring wonder and awe. The castles are intricately designed and promise a winter adventure like no other.

"The experience is built using hundreds of thousands of icicles hand-placed by professional ice artists. The castles include breathtaking LED-lit sculptures, frozen thrones, ice-carved tunnels, slides, fountains and much more." - Ice Castles

The Ice Castles are returning to Town Park in Dillon and tickets are $16.99 or $20.99 for adult admission, and $11.99 or $15.99 for children. The lower or higher price is dependent on if you plan to visit during a weekday or a weekend.

While there are tickets sold at the door, standby tickets are not guaranteed, so we recommend that you grab your tickets online ahead of time!

Considering the time of the year and the nature of the attraction, the Ice Castles are open weather-permitting. This being said, if your planned date gets snowed out, you do have the option to change your ticket dates as long as you do so at least 24 hours in advance.

What do you think? Will you be exploring the Ice Castles this winter? Have you visited in previous years? Share your photos and videos with us in the comments below! And make sure you dress accordingly. We'll see you out there, Colorado!
