Star Trek Wine from Chateau Picard

However, Chateau Picard in real life is a multi-generational vineyard in Bordeaux, France. The Star Trek brand took advantage of the coincidence and teamed up with the winery to produce two limited-edition releases. The first is a 2016 Chateau Picard Cru Bourgeois Bordeaux that sells for $60 and the second is a 2017 Special Reserve United Federation of Planets Old Vine Zinfandel for $50. You can even get a collector’s engraved wood box set that includes six limited-edition bottles for $499.

The wines were crafted by a Game of Thrones fan and are said to match the strength of the characters and the terrain of their kingdoms.
