Salud! with some salt around the rim!

Whether it’s National Margarita Day, Cinco De Mayo, Taco Tuesday, or some other day you make up, relaxing with a refreshing margarita is the perfect way to enjoy a meal with friends or family. These Denver hots spots go beyond the traditional tequila, triple sec, and lime juice to come up with a creative cocktail we can all appreciate.

3 Margaritas Broomfield

3 Margaritas Broomfield has a full bar with imported and domestic beers, margaritas, and other cocktails. Happy hour is 3-6 p.m. and 9 p.m. to close every day. Along with drink specials, there are also appetizer specials on nachos, chicken taquitos, and chili cheese fries. We recommend Taco Tuesday and Thirsty Thursday (which features $5 house margaritas), but really, isn’t every day a good taco day? The answer is yes, in case you were wondering.

Check out the Coronarita, made with a 7 oz. Corona, or try a fresh-squeezed margarita made with 100% agave tequila, as well as palomas and margaritas flavored with strawberry, mango, and peach. Mules, mojitos, and pina coladas are also on the menu.

La Loma

For fine dining with a Latin accent, La Loma is your best bet. They offer an extensive collection of tequila selections such as Don Julio, Patron, and 1800 as well as specialty margaritas with peach liqueur, serrano, and orange liqueur. Other margarita-inspired drinks include classic tequila cocktails—frozen or on the rocks—in flavors such as prickly pear, peach guava, blood orange, passionfruit, and mango.

Marg’s Taco Bistro

Marg’s Taco Bistro offers a wide selection of flavor-infused cocktails in fruity and spicy combinations like kiwi-jalapeno or vanilla-coconut. Even the tacos take on a fusion vibe with choices such as Caprese, Korean, and Peruvian. Enjoy a skinny margarita, a mint marg, jalapeno-pomegranate, or a mezcal-rita.

Agave Taco Bar

If you’re looking for a unique margarita, pay a visit to Agave Taco Bar where you can try a cucumberita with cucumber-infused tequila, a mezcal-rita, a yolo margarita with Yolo Gold Rum, or a mama Mary with traditional and jalapeno-infused tequila, Cointreau, agave nectar, and lime. They also have $6 margaritas all day every Monday. Count us in!
