Her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, will serve 5 months.

In March of 2019, we were all shocked that the "wholesome" Lori Loughlin, of Full House fame, was involved in a college exam cheating scandal, which accused the actress and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, of paying $500,000 in a bribe to get their daughters admitted to the University of South California. Actress Felicity Huffman was also involved.

Now, more than a year later, it was announced on Friday that Loughlin has been sentenced to two months in jail. On top of the prison sentence, the actress will also pay a $150,000 fine, serve 100 hours of community service, and have two years of supervised release.

Giannulli was ordered to serve five months in prison, as well as pay a $250,000 fine and undergo 250 hours of community service and two years of supervised release.

A federal judge accepted both of their plea deals in a video sentencing hearing.

"I deeply regret the harm that my actions have caused my daughters, my wife and others," said Giannulli during his sentencing hearing. "I take full responsibility for my conduct. I'm ready to accept the consequences and move forward with the lessons I've learned from this experience."

From the beginning, Loughlin and Giannulli had denied their involvement and tried to fight the charges. But things didn't pan out exactly as those two had planned. In fact, it seems as if Loughlin and Giannulli had been awaiting this day for months, as reports of the Full House actress hiring a "prison coach" surfaced in January.

Huffman, however, pled guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and served 11 days in prison. She was also given 250 hours of community service, one year of supervised release, and had to pay a $30,000 fine.
