The new cereal will bring back all the nostalgia of your favorite childhood lunchtime snack.
First, Dunkaroos came back in full force, then the company released a pint of their delicious vanilla frosting. If that wasn't enough nostalgia for you, Kellogg's announced Little Debbie Cosmic Brownies cereal's release.
That's right—one of the nation's favorite childhood treats is coming out in a chocolatey breakfast form. The announcement comes just two months after Kellogg's announced a collaboration with Little Debbie to bring Oatmeal Cream Pies cereal to grocery store shelves near you.
The cereal features crispy brownie squares dotted with cosmic rainbow pieces, appearing a lot like the classic brownie. While it likely won't be as soft, Kellogg's promises the cereal will be just as fudgy and delicious. While we can't wait to eat three bowls at a time, we'll have to wait to get our hands on a box. The Cosmic Brownies cereal hits stores in May.
While it's an exciting announcement, there was a strong divide among those on social media. Some people can't wait to try it and enjoy a blast from the past.
Heaven help my family when my husband catches wind of this...

Others, on the other hand, weren't buying into the appeal of a lunchtime cafeteria delight turning into breakfast.
