Oreo is revamping the iconic holiday gingerbread house tradition with their own Oreo cookie house kit!
For those of us who love building an adorable gingerbread house once December rolls around, but aren't crazy about actually eating it, Oreo has changed the game. They've made their own version for $10 which features pre-made chocolate cookie pieces, pre-made icing, Oreo cookies, Oreo mini cookies, fruity gummies, and candy jewels, according to People.com.
They also have a mini version, but unfortunately, both are currently sold out on Big Lots' website. But peeps from the TheJunkFoodAisle discovered the amazing kits at CVS.
Personally, I'm kind of shocked Oreo hasn't thought of this sooner. As one of the most well-known cookie brands, it seems like a match made in heaven. While I know there's going to be some traditionalists out there who will stick with the time-honored gingerbread house, I can think a lot of people (myself included!) who will be excited to mix it up this year.
If you live in a divided house, why not make both? The more cookies the merrier, in my opinion.

Since I'm not a regular at Big Lots, nor CVS, I'm hoping Oreo will sell their cookie house kits at other popular retailers (*cough* Target), but if not, I'll make an exception in my weekly errand running.
What are your thoughts? Will you be buying Oreo's version of the classic gingerbread house kit this year, or sticking to the original? Let us know in the comments!
