Behind the black and white hair ... behind the cruel laugh, there lies a story to be told.

We all have a story to tell. And the story of Cruella de Vil is one with the potential to help explain the evil acts of the iconic villainous. Plan to head to the theaters on May 28, 2021, to watch the newly-released Cruella. Before you do, check out the trailer.

Snippets of Cruella's story play out in the trailer to the tune of the 1958 somber ballad, "Who's Sorry Now?", Cruella is portrayed as a troubled and misunderstood youth who is attempting to find her way in the world.

Young Estella embraces her flair for fashion. With her wicked creativeness, she catches the attention of fashion designer, Baroness von Hellman. Throughout the story riddled with competition, the two become at odds with each other. Estella meets and recruits two thieves, and the team of three works together to create a livelihood on the streets of London. Through a series of events, Estella chooses her wicked side and becomes the dominant Cruella. Emma Stone plays Cruella, and Emma Thompson plays Baroness von Hellman.

This is the fourth movie based on the 1961 classic, 101 Dalmatians. Is that one too many movies on the same theme? Or will we finally understand the troublesome past of the evil Cruella de Vil?

What do you think about the upcoming Cruella movie? Is it on your must-watch list for May? Share in the comments.
