Well, at least we're not the worst city!
New data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) suggests that sexually transmitted diseases are becoming more prevalent in the United States, with combined cases of syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia reaching "an all-time high" in 2018. Yikes.
Innerbody.com then took that data, analyzed it, and created a list of the top 100 highest-rated STD cities in the United States. And while we're not the worst city, we're not the best either. Denver, Colorado, is ranked as the 19th highest-rated STD city on Innerbody's list.

Baltimore, Maryland, clinched the top spot, so ... congrats, I guess?
Other cities with high rates of STDs are: Jackson, MS (No. 2); Philadelphia, PA (No. 3); San Francisco, CA (No. 4); Montgomery, AL (No. 5); Augusta, GA (No. 6); Milwaukee, WI (No. 7); Killeen, TX (No. 8); Shreveport, LA (No. 9); and Indianapolis, IN (No. 10).
The research team at Innerbody also ranked each state, from highest to lowest. Luckily, Colorado is a bit lower on the list, but not by much. We ranked at No. 24, with 38,355 STD cases; 29,124 chlamydia cases; 8,894 gonorrhea cases; and 337 syphilis cases.
