Check out one of these popular D.C. comedy clubs for a night of hilarity and laughs!

No matter how you get it, a hearty laugh is always good for the soul. And yes, we have access to tons of humorous content online, but there's really nothing like the old-school traditional comedy club. D.C. just so happens to have a few good spots to get a laugh (and a drink) at! Here are our favorites!

1. Capital Laughs | Adams Morgan

Capital Laughs is good for two moods. First, if you feel like completely flying off the radar and going somewhere to be unseen but also have a good time, this one is for you. Capital Laughs offers many shows throughout the week, including a late-night Friday show with an open bar for just $30! Even if you're not much of a drinker, being around people who are drinking always tends to make things a bit more interesting and lively. Check out Capital Laughs here.

2. Drafthouse Comedy | Downtown D.C.

Different from many of its comedy club competitors, Drafthouse Comedy attempts to woo us over by not enforcing those pesky two-drink minimums. Located in downtown D.C., Drafthouse Comedy offers classes if you think you're pretty funny and can make it in the big time (with a little practice and guidance, of course). Click here to see Drafthouse comedy classes.

3. Comedy Club D.C. | Adams Morgan

This one screams amateur night. Comedy Club D.C. typically has a lot of acts, therefore statistically speaking, someone is bound to be funny, right? High chances here. If you go a few times, you might just bolster up the courage to get up there one night just to see how funny you are. If all else fails, make sure you bring a good group of friends that will laugh hilariously at whatever you say. Learn more about Comedy Club D.C. here.

Will you be heading out for a good laugh soon? Better yet, making others laugh? Let us know in the comments!
