Hampton Roads International Auto Show

Virginia Beach Convention Center | Friday–Sunday

Presented by the Hampton Roads Automobile Dealers Association, the Hampton Roads Auto Show's virtual showroom will feature the latest and greatest from each of the leading automobile manufacturers, including Toyota, Honda, Acura, Chevrolet, Mercedes Benz, Porsche, and so many more. Norfolk

MacArthur on Ice, and Impulse

MacArthur Green | 300 Monticello Avenue, Norfolk, VA | Daily through January 20

If you haven't been ice skating yet this season, this might be the perfect weekend to do it. MacArthur's 7,200-square-foot rink is only open for one more week, so you should get your skating in while you can! The 5th Annual Nomarama Slider Competition

O'Connor Brewing Company | 521 W. 25th St., Norfolk, VA | Saturday

From 12 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, test sliders from Norfolk's Redwood Smoke Shack, Rebellion DC, Bing's BBQ, and Lumpia & Co. There'll be a photo booth available, and a live DJ will be laying down the beat. Cost is $30. Learn more here.

Virginia Fly Fishing and Wine Festival

Meadow Event Park | 13191 Dawn Blvd., Doswell, VA | Friday–Saturday

Perfect for newbies to the sport of fly fishing, this event is nationally known for being extremely beginner-friendly. Of course, it doesn't hurt that there are free wine tastings for attendees 21 and over! This is the 20th annual Virginia Fly Fishing and Wine Festival, and it attracts anglers from all over the country. Kids are welcome and encouraged to get involved. Learn more here!

20th Annual Pet Expo

Richmond Raceway Complex | 600 East Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA | Saturday

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., pet owners from around the region will bring their pets to Henrico Humane Society's annual Pet Expo. Visit more than 50 vendors on-hand, or participate in a variety of pet-related activities. This is bound to be a lot of fun for the whole family. Check it out here!
