Labor Day Weekend event brings closure to summertime with an amazing musical lineup.

The producers of A Taste of Colorado, The Downtown Denver Partnership, just announced the event’s entertainment lineup for the three-day Labor Day weekend.

The 36th annual music and food festival will include over 30 national and local music artists which will perform throughout the weekend of August 31 to September 2, 2019. Colorado’s largest food and music festival, which is admission-free, will include performances of artists like Kool & the Gang, The Wyatts, and Scott Trapp, former singer of Creed.

This year’s festival with start with a bang on Saturday with KC and the Sunshine Band, followed by Kool & the Gang, and Grand Funk Railroad. On Sunday, the music event will start with Dwight Yoakam, LOCASH, Cassadee Pope, and Whiskey Road. The festival will end on Monday, September 2, with Scott Trapp, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Taylor Dayne, and Freddy Jones Band.

A Taste of Colorado 2018

For 35 years, Colorado natives have enjoyed the three-day, free-admission festival, an event that takes over the Labor Day Weekend in Downtown Denver’s Civic Center Park. In addition to an eclectic entertainment lineup, A Taste of Colorado attracts people for its variety of local and worldly cuisine and local artisans which will feature their products in the Arts & Crafts Marketplace. The festival also caters to families and children with a section of games and interactive activities for the kids.

The regular priced tickets for The Capitol VIP Experience will go on sale June 17 at 10 a.m. There will be a special pre-sale VIP ticket offer earlier that week, on June 14 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at axs.com.
