Get lost in the Christmassy winter wonderland the Colorado Polar Express!

Who doesn’t know the Polar Express story? We all stayed up waiting for the train to take us to the North Pole to meet Santa! Well, families can immerse themselves into the sights and sounds of the classic Christmas story with the Colorado Polar Express! You can find the Christmas magic at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, now through December 23rd. Showtimes are at 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Take this Colorado Polar Express ride to truly feel the holiday spirit. At the Polar Express Trail Ride Depot you can hear the faint sound of sleigh bells calling in the distance. Visitors are greeted at the main entrance and receive their “Golden Tickets” before being ushered to the performance area. Scenes from the story will come to life before your eyes. Dancing chefs and waiters will serve cookies and hot chocolate as wide eyed children drink in the scenes from their favorite story. The kiddos are also invited to engage with the actors, prompted to express what is so magical and special about the Christmas season. Colorado Polar Express The story of the Polar Express will be told it in its entirety as your belly is warmed and filled with Christmas goodies. Watch the excitement rise in your children as they patiently await their very own ride in the Colorado Polar Express Train Ride! After story time is over, the conductor invites the whole family and the other passengers to assemble on the platform for the train to arrive! Once you take your seat you’re that much closer to the North Pole! More scenes and fun unfold as the train takes off to the Winter Wonderland. Keep your eyes open for Santa’s sleigh, a bag of toys and a HUGE Christmas tree. The story continues outside the Colorado Polar Express as Santa presents the “First Gift of Christmas” to the young Hero of the story. The story isn’t over when you take off for your home voyage, though. Santa will have a surprise for all the good boys and girls on the Colorado Polar Express! Colorado Polar Express Overall, the fun lasts about 75 minutes, and it’s suggested you leave about 30 minutes early for your allotted time! Tickets prices are $35-$75 for children 2-11 and $45-$100 for adults. Museum members receive a $3 discount per ticket, and children under 2 can ride on a lap for free!
