The nostalgic treat will only be available this summer!

The creative geniuses at Ben & Jerry's always make headlines whenever there's a brand new flavor, and their latest doesn't disappoint. On Tuesday, the creamery revealed "Totally Unbaked," its first limited-edition release of the year that will be on sale this summer.

Much like its spiritual predecessor Half Baked, it features a rich blend of chocolate chip cookie dough and brownie batter mixed into a chocolate and vanilla ice cream base. Except there's a key difference; instead of fully-baked chunks of brownie and cookie, it contains swirls of unbaked batter. Basically, it recreates the fun of licking the spoon after baking cookies, only it's safe to eat and just as delicious!

You're probably wondering, "Okay, but does it ACTUALLY taste like unbaked cookie dough or brownie batter?" And we're here to say it does. The company's "flavor guru" Natalia Butler can attest to it, saying, "Those rich cocoa-infused swirls of brownie batter taste exactly like what you'd lick out of a brownie batter bowl." It's a sweet dose of childhood nostalgia that comes just in time for the dog days of summer. And if your parents forbid you from that sacred tradition, well, here's your chance to see what the fuss is all about!

Each pint retails between $4.99 and $5.49 and can be found at most grocery stores nationwide. Since this is part of the Limited Batch series, which has included seasonal scoops like Pumpkin Cheesecake and Candy Bar Pie, you won't be able to get it for long. Reports show the creamy concoction will only be available for purchase this summer. So stock up! This is what freezers were invented for!
