The Boulder Valley School District on Wednesday celebrated American Indian, Hawaiian and Alaskan graduating seniors at an annual Title VI Honoring Ceremony at the University of Colorado Boulder.

The ceremony featured a Native blessing and drums and an honoring speech, followed by a presentation of stoles for the seniors to wear during their upcoming graduation ceremonies. The first members of Boulder Valley’s Indigenous Student Honor Society also were recognized.
