Lyft's Ski Rack function allows you to request a ride with a Lyft vehicle that can accommodate your ski equipment.
Available in Rocky Mountain communities like Vail, Beaver Creek, Aspen, Snowmass, Steamboat Springs, Telluride, Winter Park, and Granby; the Ski Rack option on the Lyft app is taking ride-sharing to new heights. Literally. If you want to shred the pow without having to worry about the pesky snow-packed drive from your hotel or the crowded parking situation, you can simply open the Lyft app, select "Ski Rack," and be matched with a vehicle that's adequately equipped to haul your skis or snowboards. Ski Rack drivers provide the properly installed ski racks, so all you have to do is secure your equipment and hop in for the ride to the lift. Voila. The function certainly takes the stress out of a weekend at the slopes, making curbside drop-off and pick-up a reality! Though, it seems a Lyft Ski Rack ride all the way from Denver is still too good to be true. For now, we'll have to settle for a lift between our accommodations and the resort. But we'll take it!
