With the 2025 baseball season warming up, Chase Field is rolling out the welcome mat with a lineup of new concession stands and some calorie-laden game-day grub that could give the home plate a run for its money. In what's quickly becoming a home run for hungry D-backs fans, Senior Executive Chef Stephen Tilder gave a sneak peek at the gourmet offerings destined to grace the stands this season. Among the new heavyweight contenders are the S'mores Nachos, a dessert dish loaded with cinnamon, sugar, flour tortillas, and a mercy of marshmallow fluff—"hit it with a torch [and has] a little bit of chocolate," as described by Tilder . Not to be benched, the Filthy Mac Fries steps up to the plate, promising a loaded taste experience. Tilder expressed his fondness for the newest addition, which features fries smothered in white cheddar Mac and pork belly, topped off with a drizzle of barbecue sauce, coleslaw, and crispy onions—an amazing ensemble. These can be snagged at the Taste of Chase. In the dizzyingly tempting roster, the Carne Asada Nacho Helmet also makes an appearance, wielding fresh ingredients like avocado, crema, and jalapeños, all served in a souvenir helmet that can feed at least "a couple of people," ABC15 reported . Meanwhile, AZCentral detailed even more culinary heavy-hitters that took the field during the Diamondbacks’ 2025 season preview. Their coverage featured a juicy Mushroom and Swiss Smash Burger and an 18-inch Grand Sandwich that can arguably satisfy even the most ambitious of appetites. The Sweet and Spicy Korean Wings joined the starting lineup of noshes to add a little heat to the mix. All of these and more, like the Giant Loaded BBQ Chicken Potato, took center stage at the showcase event last Tuesday. A bobblehead, poised for one of the Diamondbacks' promotional dates, even photobombed the foodie affair, ensuring fans' excitement for both the on-field action and the off-field eating. Former Diamondbacks player Luis Gonzalez and team president Derrick Hall were also present during the season preview, reflecting the organization's commitment to connecting the past and present—and the gourmand with the game. While fans might come for the fly balls and home stretches, there's a fair chance they'll be staying for the smorgasbord, as Sports 360 AZ journalists Eliav Gabay and Jordan Spurgeon can attest after attempting some of the newest gastronomic home runs. With a nod to both nostalgia and culinary innovation, Chase Field seems committed to serving up a full-spectrum fan experience that's as much about the flavor explosions at the concession stands as it is about the bat cracks and glove-snaps on the diamond, as reported by AZCentral .
