The Kansas City Chiefs will enter the 2025 season looking to do something the franchise hasn't really had to do since Patrick Mahomes took over as the full-time starter - prove a lot of people wrong .

With the Chiefs coming off a brutal Super Bowl loss and, for some, a so-so offseason, Andy Reid's team will need to hit the ground running to open the year, which includes games against the Philadelphia Eagles and the Baltimore Ravens in the first four weeks.

But while those take place early in the season, looking across the year, all of the Chiefs' "big" games are at Arrowhead Stadium, and for CBS Sports.com, that is a good thing for the franchise, along with closing the year out with three division games as well.

"The Chiefs have gone 20-4 in divisional games over the past four years, which means they'll probably be thrilled to see that they close the season with three divisional games over the final four weeks," CBS Sports writes . "They'll face the Chargers (Week 15) and Broncos (Week 17) at home before hitting the road to face the Raiders in Week 18. Another thing to like is that the Chiefs get four of their most difficult games (Eagles, Ravens, Lions, Commanders) at home, where they went 8-0 last season."

Given the Chiefs' record against the AFC West, that is a good way to end the season, but also, the franchise will enjoy the home comforts of Arrowhead when facing the top dogs.

Granted, they do play the Bills at Highmark Stadium, which could be another AFC championship preview, but the others are all at home, and as we know, the Chiefs are tough to beat at Arrowhead.

Kansas City will have to prove to a lot of people that they still have what it takes to climb the mountain yet again, and with a schedule that has them at home for the big games, as well as three divisional contests to close out the year, it is all laid out nicely for the AFC champs to once again defend their crown.
