EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Fire crews were called to an apartment fire in Evansville earlier Saturday.

That’s according to dispatch, who tells us that call came in around 11:15 a.m. in the 400 block of Cross Valley Circle.

That’s at The Crossing Apartments near the intersection of W. Diamond Avenue and N. First Avenue.

Around 12:45 p.m., dispatch says the fire has been put out and several fire departments have already left.

Dispatch officials tell us a fire investigator is still on scene and working to determine what caused that fire.
