The annual "Boo at the Zoo" event is a time-honored tradition at the Denver Zoo Conversation Alliance. And it'll be making its grand return in 2024!
Throughout October, the Denver Zoo will transform into a fall wonderland for its Boo at the Zoo event, and more than 4,000 animals will provide the backdrop.
"This beloved trick-or-treating experience is back and better than ever!" said the zoo. "This timed, ticketed event is designed to minimize crowds and maximize fun. Enjoy mysterious cryptid creatures, candy stations, seasonal snacks and maximized Halloween fun for little ones and everyone. With something magical around every corner, it’s the best place in town to trick-or-treat!"
Boo at the Zoo will be held on the following dates: October 4–5, 11–13, 18–20, and 25–27, from 5–9 p.m. each night. A sensory-friendly night will be available on October 31.
Pricing will vary depending on when you go to the zoo, so heads up! Tickets can be purchased online.
Your ticket includes a complimentary reusable trick-or-treat bag, an optional $5 candy bag (for kids two and under), and nine candy stations. In addition, there will be photo ops and seasonal snacks!
