'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house—a Taco Bell fan-fave showed up! Santa must have decided we're all on the nice list this year because the Mexican chain's Loaded Nacho Taco is making a comeback on Christmas Eve. According to Delish, the cheesy specialty will be hitting drive-thrus starting on Christmas Eve, which makes for a tempting predicament. Don't get us wrong—we love a fancy holiday feast as much as the next person, but if it comes down to that and a tortilla stuffed with beef and cheese, the choice is quite simple!

The Loaded Nacho Taco is a hybrid take on two of our favorite concepts, tacos and nachos. It's a beef taco filled with nacho cheese, lettuce, more shredded cheese, and red tortilla strips seasoned with a tasty blend of garlic and lime. At just a single American dollar and 250 calories, it filled our stomachs and hearts with a joy that can only come from something so delicious. As Taco Bell beautifully puts it: "This is not a story of boy meets girl. This is the story of tacos meets nachos." A rom-com in the making, if you ask us!

The $1 delicacy will only be available for a limited time, but the fact that it's coming back at all is good enough for us. In the wake of the chain's controversial menu purge that gave the boot to a ton of menu items (we still haven't forgotten about the Mexican Pizza), we'll welcome an old friend with open arms. Admittedly, we're still a bit salty about the loss of the 7-Layer Burrito and Loaded Potato Tacos, but we think this will more than makeup for it. New beginnings, and all that.

Customers can get their hands on the Loaded Nacho Taco at the drive-thru or through delivery with Postmates, Uber Eats, and Grubhub. While you're at it, try some of Taco Bell's newest offerings like the Chicken Chipotle Melt or the Dragonfruit Freeze. You never know—you might just find a new favorite!
