PHOENIX (AZFamily) — It looks like our high on this “Fall-like” Tuesday will be 79 degrees, which we hit at 1:09 a.m.!!

A little bit of rain greeted the cold front that passed through the Valley overnight, but the most measurable rain was confined to the northeast corner of the Valley, with just under a tenth of an inch near Fountain Hills.

Yavapai County had many spots with well over half an inch of rain.

Afternoon highs were running in the mid-70s, which was 10 degrees below the average.

What little snow and rain has mostly ended for the High Country.

As forecast from this morning, most elevations above 4,000 feet can expect a hard freeze on Tuesday night, with temperatures at 28 degrees or below.

Portions of the northwest and southeast corners of the state are under a hard freeze warning .

The northeast corner of the state is still under a wind advisory .

Overnight lows in the Valley should cool to the upper 40s to mid-50s under clear skies.

A slow warming trend will bring temperatures back to the 80s by Halloween.

A new storm may bring a chance of rain and cooler temperatures starting Sunday and into Tuesday morning, but confidence in the timing and strength of the storm is still a bit low at this point.
