Two people killed in fatal plane crash.

Updated June 17, 2021: Two people and a dog were found dead at the site of the crash along. The NTSB is continuing its investigation.

South Metro Fire Rescue tweeted out a fatal plane crash that occurred at 1:45 p.m. today, Wednesday, June 16, 2021. The Denver Channel reports, a single-engine Lancair Evolution hit power lines and crashed south of Ridgegate Parkway in Castle Pines. The brush fire caused by the crash has been mitigated by fire rescue. The National Transportation Safety Board is determining if there were any passengers.
