WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Good morning Texoma! It’s a warm and humid start this morning. Temperatures are starting out in the low-to-mid-60s for a lot of us this morning. It’s also humid with dewpoints sitting in the mid-60s this morning. Temperatures today will be fairly warm as highs climb into the mid-80s across Texoma for our daytime highs. Despite the warm temperatures, we have issued a First Alert Weather Day for today as well as tomorrow. This evening, a dry line is expected to push east and as this dry line pushes east, it’s expected to kick up a few storms in western Texoma. These storms will likely become supercells and will capable of producing large hail, a tornado, and damaging winds. The strongest storms are expected to be in western Texoma and will likely fall apart before they can make it into central Texoma. We’ll continue to monitor things as they evolve.
