Flexjet , a global leader in luxury private aviation, has broken ground on a new $36 million private terminal at Scottsdale Airport, marking the latest expansion of its exclusive terminal network.

The custom-designed facility, scheduled to open in late 2026, will include a 9,000-square-foot passenger terminal, 9,500 square feet of office space, and 34,000 square feet of maintenance hangar space. The terminal will feature a contemporary design inspired by Flexjet’s Cleveland headquarters, with expansive windows, luxury interiors, and an outdoor terrace overlooking the McDowell Mountains.

“This is a meaningful milestone in a place I’ve come to call home,” said Kenn Ricci, Flexjet chairman. “Scottsdale’s private aviation traffic has more than doubled in recent years, and this terminal will offer Flexjet Owners an elevated, seamless experience in one of our busiest markets.”

The Scottsdale terminal will be reserved for Flexjet aircraft Owners and their guests, with amenities including direct ramp access, private parking, fully stocked bar and café stations, and Red Label by Flexjet–inspired design. The site will also house Flexjet Technical Services to support aircraft maintenance needs.

Flexjet’s private terminal network currently includes locations in Teterboro, N.J.; White Plains, N.Y.; Dallas; Naples, Fla.; and Van Nuys, Calif. Additional terminals are in development in Bozeman, Mont.; Palm Beach and Miami, Fla.; Las Vegas; and Farnborough, U.K.

Flexjet is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and operates a fleet that includes Gulfstream, Bombardier and Embraer aircraft, as well as Sikorsky helicopters in select markets.
