What better way to celebrate lovely weather and the summer months than with a food truck festival?!
Despite the efforts of Mother Nature, a little weekend snow won't stop summer barreling around the corner. There is no better sign that summer is right around the corner than the sweet and savory smells of a unique Denver food truck? Civic Center EATS returns May 2 to offer a truly unique and totally local culinary experience.
Organizers of CCE have a pretty involved vetting process when it comes to the featured trucks at the event. For trucks that have been present during previous years, organizers look at past years sales to make sure they are still up to snuff. For all trucks, menu diversity, truck aesthetics, and social media presence are all taken into consideration. This year, 17 new trucks have made the lineup for the event.
During these events local food truck vendors create a reputation for themselves and garner loyal followings amongst food truck purists. The overall goal is to get more people to come and utilize Civic Center park more. Bringing out food trucks and rotating them on a two-to-three day a week statuses will not only bring out the people, but expose them to local businesses within Civic Center Park!
