There are few things on Earth as delicious as sushi, and despite our landlocked situation delicious Denver sushi is abundant!

SuChine

Address: 19751 E. Mainstreet, R3, Parker, CO 80138 [gallery size="large" ids="6246,6247,6248,6249,6250"] SuChine is an informal sushi stop where you can craft your own rolls! They also have their own specialty rolls, most of which are absolutely delicious. Personally, I’m partial to the Kona roll, which is a pretty standard California roll with avocado and cucumber, topped with mango and tuna. It’s just as good as it sounds! If you’re in a rush, they also have sushi-ritos! They’re perfect to grab and eat on the go.

Sushi Sasa

Address: 2401 15th St, Denver, CO 80202 [gallery size="large" ids="6251,6252,6253,6254,6255"] Sasa is the ultimate fancy intimate Denver sushi experience. The fish is amazing, the drinks are great, and the staff are attentive without overwhelming you. You can also stop in for their happy hour, when a handful of their fancy dishes and drinks are on special. If you’re feeling adventurous, try the strawberry shortcake roll!

Hapa Sushi

Address: 1514 Blake St, Denver, CO 80202 [gallery size="large" ids="6256,6258,6259,6260,6261"] This Denver sushi joint is the perfect blend of Japan and Hawaii. The name “Hapa” is derived from the Hawaiian word describing a harmonious blend of Asian and American cultures. If you’re not in the mood for sushi when you head here, try out the chicken teriyaki bowl. Honestly, I could eat that bowl every day of my life and be content. The Dragon Roll is also to die for.

Sushi Ronin

Address: 2930 Umatilla St, Denver, CO 80211 [gallery size="large" ids="6262,6263,6264,6265,6266"] This one is a relatively new Denver sushi spot, and it’s getting a lot of attention already! I do highly recommend the cold/raw options, but the cooked and seared options are also pretty tasty.

Sushi-Rama

Address: 2615 Larimer St, Denver, CO, 80205 [gallery size="large" ids="6267,6268,6269,6270,6271"] Ok, if we’re being honest here, the sushi at Rama may not be the greatest sushi ever. Rama is all about the experience. There’s something fun about sushi being delivered to you on a little conveyor belt that wraps around the table. Just be sure you get a seat close to the start of the belt, or you’ll have to watch everyone in front of you take all the best sushi before you even have a chance.

Sushi Den

Address: 1487 S Pearl St, Denver, CO 80210 [gallery size="large" ids="6272,6273,6274,6275,6276"] Sushi Den is not only ranked high on the list of Denver sushi stops, it’s arguably one of the best restaurants in the city. They buy their fish directly from Japan, so you won’t find fresher fish or a fresher atmosphere in Denver. Plus if you sit at the bar where you can watch the prep work, you get dinner and a show!

Izakaya Den

Address: 1478A S Pearl St, Denver, CO 80210 [gallery size="large" ids="6277,6278,6279,6280,6281"] Izakaya is right next door to Sushi Den, and it’s pretty amazing in its own right. They get their sushi from the same place as Sushi Den, and their environment is more lively and fun. As far as Denver sushi goes, this is really a spot you won’t want to miss!
