What goes on behind the scenes of your favorite videos?
You have probably seen the awesome video content on Our Community Now. If not, what are you waiting for? From exploring local hotels and restaurants to diving into complex topics with religious officials, and more, there is so much interesting and exciting content to see. Entertainment isn't even the full scope of what PIN Studios does, as the team works with companies on promotional videos as well.
It is very clear that these videos had a lot of talent and effort put into them. This effort goes beyond the people we see on-screen, who undoubtedly have an incredible spark. The team behind the scenes has been praised for things such as their camera angles and innovation. So who is the team behind PIN Studios? We thought it would be great to dive into that in order to gain a greater appreciation for all of the work that goes into this content. Without further ado, let's meet the PIN Studios team!
Martin

The executive producer, Martin Soederhamn, is originally from Copenhagen, Denmark. You can find his travel videos on YouTube, under the channel Adventure Calls. Beyond that, he has won many awards from film festivals worldwide for his documentary work. His background comes through in the video content that he does for PIN Studios.
Lamar

Lamar Clark is a cinematographer and editor from New England. He has over 10 years of experience in the film industry, which is not surprising when you see his work. Some of his experiences include working on the television series Empire, as well as a feature film by Spike Lee, called Chi-Raq!
Shane

Shane Mahon is also a cinematographer and editor, from Dublin, Ireland. With a Master's degree in Broadcast Production, we know he is very qualified. But experience is more than just a degree, and Shane has that experience. He began his career by creating videos for music and events in Dublin. Since then, he's had a successful career in New York City, making videos for Corporate, Music, Weddings & Events. These days, Shane works with Martin and Lamar for PIN Studios.
What Do They Do?
This team has brought so much creativity to life with their PIN Studios work. Some of these video series include Holy Holy Highball, Restaurants Near Me, and a newer series, Hotels Near Me. It is extremely clear from watching these videos that this team knows exactly what they are doing. Each video is highly professional and suits whatever the mood of the particular topic may be.
Holy Highball, for example, feels like a comfortable and intimate conversation with friends. These videos explore topics such as swearing and sex with religious officials, in a way that can only be described as real and humanizing. This is a clear testament to the skills of the team. They take the energy that is present in the room and are able to maintain it in the video.
Jinny Jordan, the host of Holy Highball, said that the team is extremely easy and professional to work with. She has confidence in their editing skills and knows that nothing will ever be taken out of context. They understand the integrity and flow of the content. Jinny has been learning a lot, and the team even allows her to help produce! She has a lot of fun working with them, and couldn't imagine working with a team that is stuffy or intimidating.
Jinny also hosts the new series, Hotels Near Me. In this series, we find out more about local hotels in Colorado. This series beautifully displays interesting aspects of the hotels, while we also get to see Jinny interviewing some of the employees. The transitions are seamless and the whole vibe is classy. Once again, the effort put into these videos behind the scenes is clear.
Larry Herz is the host of our favorite food series, Restaurants Near Me. In this series, we explore local restaurants throughout different neighborhoods in the Denver area. It features 5 restaurants, within 5 hours!
"When we are done filming I always feel like it won't be a good episode, mainly because I don't think that I'm any good, but then the episode comes out and it's freaking amazing. Better than Food Network quality. They are a pleasure to work with!" Larry said.
The PIN Studios team is clearly wonderful to collaborate with. They are able to give direction and educate those they work with while managing not to overshadow or be intimidating. This team is insanely good at what they do, and Jinny said that they're always revamping, fine-tuning, and pushing out content engagement.
Without a doubt, all of the content that PIN Studios creates feels like something I would watch on TV. The professionalism is incredible and it is certainly not lost on the viewer. In addition to their entertainment style videos, PIN Studios creates advertisement content for companies, flawlessly showcasing their products and services.
