Glendale officer Jesse Rodriguez, 27, dies in motorcycle crash

GLENDALE, Ariz. (KVOA) — The Glendale Police Department is mourning the loss of dedicated officer, Jesse Rodriguez, who died in a motorcycle crash on February 27th along the 303 freeway.

Rodriguez, 27, served as an officer with the Glendale Police Department since August 2022.

Before joining the police force, he worked in the city's water services department.

In addition to his service in Glendale, Rodriguez was a drill sergeant in the Army Reserves.

"Our deepest sympathies go out to his family and the young child he leaves behind," said the department.
