TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Wawa announced the grand opening date and location Thursday for its first store in the capital city. The grand opening is set to take place Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 1495 Capital Circle NW, according to a Wawa press release. Doors will open at 8 a.m. and a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 9 a.m., according to Wawa. “We are excited to open our doors to our first Tallahassee store kicking off our expansion,” said Nancy Dulaney, Director of Store Operations. " Wawa plans to open more store sites in the Panhandle and Tallahassee markets. Wawa projects to open 20 stores in the Florida Panhandle, including four to six stores in Tallahassee over the next five to eight years, Wawa said in the press release.
