Great Fall Date Ideas in Denver
Fall is here, but don’t let the cooler weather stop you from exploring Denver with your significant other. Let’s spice up that pumpkin spice latte of yours and talk great date ideas in Denver!
Catch an Autumn Sunset at City Park
This date is free, beautiful, and romantic. Grab a blanket, bottle of wine, and plate of cheese and find a good spot on the grass. I shouldn’t be giving out my favorite spot, but if you park in the parking lot of the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and walk to the back of the building by the rose garden, find a spot on the hill, and I promise you will catch the most amazing views of the Denver skyline!
Catch a Seasonal Movie at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema
Are you a Beetlejuice or House of Dracula fan? Well, you and your date can get your fix at the Alamo. Don’t forget that this Littleton theater serves up huge refillable bowls of popcorn, food, and alcohol if you are trying to catch a little buzz!
Go for a Hike!
Fall is the best time to hike in Colorado. It’s not too hot, not too cold, all you really need is a light jacket! Climb the foothill on the Lariat Loop National Scenic Byway! You don’t have to go far from town to score some amazing mountain views. This 40-mile loop takes you to scenic spots like Lookout Mountain, the Mother Cabrini Shrine, and Buffalo Bill’s grave. Find a Lariat Loop destination that you would like you visit and plan a day trip for you and your signification other! You will get some exercise, some Colorado history, all while spending some quality time with your date along the way.
Go to the Pumpkin Patch
Sure, you could take your date to your local grocery store to pick out a pumpkin, but for the future of your relationship, please don’t. Create some memories and visit a traditional pumpkin patch. From corn mazes to hay mazes to petting zoos, I honestly don’t see how this date could go wrong. Try out Diana’s Pumpkin Patch and corn maze or Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Ranch! Maybe you will even get a fresh pumpkin pie out of this date.
Grab a Seasonal Beer
Not to stereotype, but most girls love pumpkin flavored anything and most boys I know seem to love a nice cold beer, so what could be a more perfect date than going and grabbing a seasonal pumpkin beer? As you already know, Denver has a lot of breweries in town to choose from and around this time of year most will offer up a nice and spicy pumpkin brew! So why not go on a pumpkin spice beer tour to find your favorite one. Go drink and be merry!
