BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - As the Aggies hit the road this weekend, much of the 12th man will too... but driving conditions look to be messy as folks head out east to the Sunshine State.

In terms of what to expect along the way, scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely throughout the daylight hours on Friday, with a brief lull in activity through the later evening hours. If you have any Friday travel plans, make sure that you take extra precautions on the road and be aware of potential road closures in the wake of Hurricane Francine, both throughout the day and when visibility is diminished through the overnight.

Saturday looks to pack even more of a rain chance, especially right before kick off as afternoon showers and thunderstorms get to work. That being said, a lightning delay cannot be ruled out, so make sure to stay weather aware. Beyond that, it will be very sweaty and muggy at The Swamp, so drink lots of water throughout the day!

Overall, this game looks to stay on the messier side of things in terms of the weather. Make sure to pack that rain poncho and, as always, your First Alert Weather App! It travels with you, so make sure you keep it by your side and we will keep you updated every step of the way!
