It's about to get cold in Knoxville and East Tennessee. A
cold front is sweeping across the United States, which is expected to bring
winter-like temperatures to the region later this week. East Tennessee will see wind chills in the 20s and upper teens on Nov. 22, according to the National Weather Service. The big question on everyone's minds:

Across East Tennessee, the highest chance of snow will happen on Thursday night, Nov. 21, and Friday morning, Nov. 22.
How much snow will fall in East Tennessee?
From Nov. 21 through Nov. 23, the National Weather Service forecasts one to two inches of snow for Northeast Tennessee. High elevations might see measurable snow,
according to the National Weather Service. Will this be the first snow of the season in Tennessee?
No. The Smokies saw the first snowfall of the season on Oct. 15. Parts of the Great Smoky Mountains saw up to three inches of snow on that day.
