Have a lovely Virginia vacation without breaking the bank!

It’s always nice to get away for a little while. Not all of us have thousands to spend on a vacation, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a beautiful Virginia Vacation on a dime!

Historic Colonial Williamsburg

History buffs rejoice! A trip to Williamsburg will not only not break the bank, but it will allow you to fill your brain with tons of Colonial history and know-how. The Historic Powhatan Resort will take you back in time with their decor, and you’ll feel like you’re truly a cabin-living colonial.

Virginia Hot Springs Day Trip

You don’t need to go to an expensive spa to get your relaxation and revitalization in. Hot Springs, Virginia, is a small town and there may not be too much entertainment to fill your time with… but it is the location of the noted Homestead Resort. While the resort is on the expensive side, there are plenty of affordable spa-like activities around the area. You can take a rejuvenating dip at Jefferson Pools, which only cost $17 per hour/person.

A Secluded Boat Trip

You can take a beautiful boat trip to the secluded island of Tangier. There are frequent boat trips coming back and forth from the island, to Onancock. The beautiful and remote town doesn’t even have cars, so you can enjoy a quiet weekend with 0 traffic. All in all you can have an inexpensive getaway, while learning some history of the quaint fishing town.
