James (Jim) Dassinger, age 76, peacefully passed away in Aurora, CO at home, surrounded by his loved ones on April 20, 2024, following a battle with colon cancer.

Born on July 27, 1947, in Dickinson, North Dakota, he moved to Billings in 1955 with his parents Anton and Helen Dassinger. Jim served in the Army 173rd division, airborne, in the Vietnam War from 1967-1968.

James is survived by his children: Cindy Dassinger- (Christos) Vasilas, Jason (Jennifer) Dassinger; grandchildren and siblings.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Bradley Dassinger; his parents and a sister.

A Celebration of Life for James Dassinger will be held at 11 am on Saturday, May 4th, 2024, at Heritage Eagle Bend Golf Club, located at 23155 E. Heritage Pkwy, Aurora, CO 80016, with a reception to follow.
